Aircraft Structures Worker Training
The focus of this program is on how to develop, manufacture, repair and maintain aircraft structures and their related parts.

The programme may be divided into two fields of speciality:
  • Aircraft sheet metal focusing on metal-constructed aircraft airframes and parts;
  • Aircraft composite work comprises of manufacturing, repairs and maintenance of composite material.

Admission Requirements
16 years and older.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Mathematics/Maths Literacy.


Training Fees

Trade Test Preparation
MATA prepares students and conducts trade tests for students after completion and obtaining of the required experience.
Our qualified instructors are registered Trade Test Officers with TETA.
Trade test preparations are conducted at the MATA premises and trade tests are conducted at the Indlela premises at Olifantsfontein.
