The focus of this programme is on the diagnosis, rectification and maintenance of aircraft airframes, engines, components and related systems.

The programme covers the following:

• Airframes - Structures;
• Engines (Piston and Gas Turbine);
• All related aircraft systems and sub systems;
• Documentation and Civil Aviation regulations.

Admission Requirements
16 years and older.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Mathematics/Maths Literacy.

Trade Test Preparation
MATA prepares students and conduct trade tests for students after completion and obtaining of the required experience.
Our qualified instructors are registered Trade Test Officers with TETA.
Trade test preparations are conducted at the MATA premises and trade tests are conducted at the Indlela premises at Olifantsfontein.
